What’s in a name?

One of the fundamental skills of a professional League of Legends player is the ability to manage your “wave” of minions as they fight the enemy’s minions.

A player’s “wave state” describes the ebb and flow of combat within the game. Is your minion wave pushing into the enemy? Is it pulling towards you? The better a player can control their wave, the better their “wave state” will be.

Our name follows that philosophy — focus on your wave state in game. We’ll focus on managing your wave of influence outside the game.
